FAQ

Where are you located?

We have two convenient locations in Wisconsin! We are available in Eau Claire as well as La Crosse.

What are your store hours?

Our doors automatically open daily at 6AM and lock at 10PM. You are welcome to finish up your laundry after 10PM, but please know that if you leave the facility, you will not be able to get back in.

Is there someone to help me if I have a question or a problem?

Yes! In Eau Claire we are attended 9AM to 7PM weekdays, while in La Crosse we are attended 8AM to 1PM and 4PM to 7PM weekdays; as well 11AM to 5PM Saturday and Sunday at both locations.

Which washer size should I use to wash/dry my clothes?

Selecting the right size washer/dryer is important in getting your clothes clean and dry. For best results, you should fill our front load washers until they are just more than half full – allowing about 10 inches from the top of your dry clothes to the top of the washer drum. Remember to leave a little room for the water! When drying, you should only fill the dryer half full. Clothes need to “tumble” in order to dry properly. Overloading dryers can damage your clothes, and take more money to dry.

How much do your washers and dryers cost?

We have several sizes of machines available with several different settings. Our machines accept quarters as well as dollar coins. We offer the lowest cost per load of laundry than just about anywhere in town. The more laundry you’re able to combine together into a single larger size machine, the less it costs per pound of laundry.

What are your “busy hours”?

Laundry Express’s busiest days of the week are Saturday and Sunday, with the most business occurring between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. And what is the “best” time to come in? Weekday mornings between 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. are the least crowded.

Do you have any specials?

Yes! On "Wash Wednesday," our 2 Load Washers are discounted. Our small driers are discounted on Wednesdays and Thursdays and on "Four Load Fridays, our 4 load washers are discounted. In addition, we have "Tide Tuesdays" with FREE Tide detergent, and "Static Free Mondays" where we give out a FREE dry sheet with every dryer start. All specials are during attended hours.

I don’t have time to wash my clothes – can you do it for me?

Absolutely! Whether you’re short on time or would just rather have someone else take care of the laundry, we are your one-stop solution. We specialize in drop off laundry services and often wash larger items such as comforters, sleeping bags, and more.

Do you offer drycleaning?

es! We are a drop off / pickup location. In Eau Claire, items dropped off before 10AM on Thursday will be sent out and returned back to the laundromat the following Thursday. In La Crosse, dry cleaning is sent out daily. We will even give you a call when your items are ready for pickup!

How long does it take?

Our front loading washers and gas powered dryers are fast. Most wash cycles take around 30 minutes, and dryer times are typically around 35 minutes. How would you like to get a week’s worth of laundry (or even a month’s worth) done in under an hour?
